Default 1 of 2,a rare bird indeed!!

I have the rare, ultra rare,1987 FC 31 300hp turbo ZF in my back pocket!!!!
There was 2 31 FCs built in 87,one was twin bed,the other was a queen.
I had the good luck to be able to sell the queen bed coach a few years ago,now i have the twin bed coach to sell!
This coach has been hiding for years,we knew it was out there, somewhere.
I have known where its been hiding for a few years but it was not for sale.

The owner called me tonight, and hes ready to sell the rare bird.
Its been stored inside for years, with a monthly trip around the block,no vacations, just a good warmup and a hot lap around the block.

90,000 miles, twin beds, paint is fair to good, needs a good cleanup and of course tires, and it needs 2 new roof airs.
The coach would not fit in his building with the old roof airs so they were ditched and the plan was to put new low profiles on it.
But life got in the way and the coach was never restored as intended.

I think its cheap at $27,500.
300 hp and intercooled with a ZF overdrive tranny.
all in 31 feet of classic bird.

Who's in?
Located in Utah,Salt lake city area.

I bet that thing is a hot rod. Does anyone have the rear end ratio?

Only reason I'm not chasing down to Utah is time and don't really need it. I can attest turbo/cac/overdrive transmission/5.29 rear axle ratio will keep up with traffic and pass the semi's on the grades. This 31' weighs in @ 24.5k wet, not sure what the 87 loads the scale at. My example has air suspension, no levelers or retarder.
That being said, can pack soooo much more 'stuff' into the 35rb. This 'creation' is much more serviceable/easier to work on due my build, but the 87s aren't that bad, just needs a little more radiator swing, that and the grille is a hassle to r&r.
If the floor plan works, won't find a sweeter road machine for that price point, by the time tires/roof airs and details probably have well under the dogmatic $10k rolling down the road.

My 35' with fuel and water is 33k. This is a neat bus. Buyers take note that the layout appears to be more similar to round headlight FCs over the 'more open' late models.

31' # was what I wuz pondering, 83 FCs go @ 32K. Was amazed how much lighter my 31 is compared to the 35rb.

I prefer that floor plan over my 88 fc. The forward bath is bigger and gives the living room seporation. I do like the walk around bed on the 88

This thread went silent awfully fast and awfully long ago...

Anyone care to provide an update for those of us who live our lives vicariously?
