Default Suburban furnace

Have pulled 2 of the 3 suburban furnaces. None of the 3 worked and the po told me they haven't been used in years. ( bus was always in warmer climates )
Did the balloon test and one unit passed, the other ( shows significant water intrusion in combustion chamber, several inches ) failed.
The unit that passed balloon test won't ignite out of the bus with propane from a gas grill. Sail switch is ok, and unit has ign spark.

Neither unit shows the neon light on the circuit board lighting up.
Are we thinking these are toast ?
Have to decide whether to bite the bullet and replace or buy parts.

For the cost of new replacement units I think you'll be much better off. Just the piece of mind knowing you don't have a cracked heat exchanger and won't get poisoned is priceless!
