There are 3 switches in the back engine compartment. Engine Compartment Lights/Engine Run Switch/Run Switch.

The Run Switch toggles up and down for front or rear start. Make sure that switch is UP to start from the driver's seat. Hope that helps

What Doc said plus make sure the engine access cover is completely closed and latched. If it is open, my M380 won't start from the dash mounted switch even when the rear switch is set for the front.

Good Luck!

Either I need a new prescription on my glasses or there is no switch on the dash marked A/T. Can't seem to find it anywhere. I agree I think this is a small issue but I don't want to have to start it from the engine compartment every time I stop.

Thanks to everyone for their help. The winning answer was make sure the engine door is completely closed. I have a feeling I will be asking lots more questions and hopefully making lots of friends along the way.

Hope to meet some of you soon.

David:

The A/T switch is one of the topmost switches on the left side of the dash. It is to the right of the headlight switch. It may not be labeled A/T. It turns on and off most of the 12 volt accessories and will keep the engine from starting.

Great news David! And don't look too hard for that A/T switch, I don't think they used them in 04

We don't have an AT switch. We have a master 12 volt switch but it isn't anti-theft on our M380. Also, Be sure to let anyone servicing your coach know about the need to have the hood down...Don't want to pay an hourly wage while they figure it out.

Great advice and I will remember this and be sure that anyone working on it also knows. I spent 2 evenings trying to figure it out.
