Default Switch Bezels

We will finish CNC laser cutting out a few sample sets of the 8 faux walnut switch bezels early next week. They will fit M380 and M450 coaches.

The set of 8 will include:
The 3 right hand sets containing seven switches (Pic #1).
The 3 left hand sets which include 2 with 5 switches and 1 with 2 switches (Pic #2).
The left hand rear set of 3 sets of 3 switches (Pic #3).
The left hand front set with the 2 four way switches and the single set of 3 switches (Pic #4)

Picture #5 shows all 8 switches.

Not included is the main dash panel and the far right radio bezel. They don't seem to be an issue anyway.

These new units will have much better UV protection verses the originals.

-------------------------------------

Please hold off on ordering until I get the finally QC on the first sets. At that point there will be about 40 sets produced and made available.

Steve Birtles at Dupree Products and my company Timberlake Products will both have them available.

We will post ASAP all of the proper purchasing instructions in a few short days.

Pricing is $162.50/set.

Installation should be straight forward. remove the bezel retaining screws and then remove the switches as a unit if possible and re assemble into the new bezels. Hopefully very few wires will have to be unplugged and replugged.

Please take the time to photograph or better yet sketch a wiring diagram that can be referenced aaaaaand...... posted here on the forum!

Should have test results anyday now. Thanks to Tracy Moyers down in Naples for being my test guinea pig!

Default Update

A few small snags with the new bezels... Had one dimensional issue and an extra set of holes. Many thanks to Tracy Moyers for doing the FFF testing!

The real issue is this... The 100 watt CNC laser we use blew its CO2 laser tube a few days ago. The owner went to install a new tube and accidentally broke it. Down the "tubes" went $1000.00 Trouble is new tubes come direct from China and take about 10 days to get. There is a possibility a guy in Orlando has one. If so, one set needs to be sampled again and then we should be ready to go. They do look good to!

The M380/450 switch bezels have been tested and proven satisfatory

I will be doing an initial production run of 15 sets on Monday July 16th.

Once again, they will be $162.50 for a set of 8 pieces or $170.00 including ground shipping.

Installation is very straight forward with the only real obstacle(PITB) being the myriad of wires attached to the remote mirror switches

So far we have only discovered a single variation in some coaches with some having the Hadley auto control panel down in the left arm rest area instead of overhead otherwise there should be 3 sets of 3 switches at the left rear position (see picture)?

The bezels will be available from:

For those interested, virtually all my switch bezels were cracked around the screws - sometimes only one screw hole, but cracked nonetheless - after all the material is only plastic. I had my handy neighbor fabricate out of sheet metal and paint black new bezels leaving only the steering wheel and the instrument dash panel which is not cracked in the burl wood. The black matches all the other black around the back up camera, radio and transmission buttons so it looks good and being metal it will not crack. I think it looks good and the burl wood steering wheel and dash provide a nice accent in the center.
