I remember seeing a 3000lb coil of steel sitting on a 1990 WB's roof at the factory.
3000lbs.

It was a weekend test to make sure the window openings would hold there shape.
Engineering said the openings would be fine,but just to be sure,they sat a 3000lb coil of steel on the middle of the roof.

Engineering was correct,the window openings stayed the same.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Yes they are built to the max. I remember going to the factory several times as they built them, I was very impressed. As for my fifth wheel toy hauler I will have to keep the water out or I'll be mushing it too!

Greetings Slim. I just replaced the Dometic with a Samsung RF197 household. I had no idea the old chimney was about three feet high and not connected to the roof vent.
