Are you positive that is a factory color? The two colors schemes I've seen on a 83 is brown or blue. Your best chance to match that color would be to have an automotive paint supply scan the paint. If it would be easier take a piece off and take it in with you. Oh by the way, very good looking coach.

I just went through this. Those paint codes are useless. They can not be cross referenced. I took a bay door off and took it to a PPG paint supply shop and they matched the paint for me. They did use an optical scanner which they said didn't "read" the paint well. They have a tech who apparently is skilled at paint matching and they got me set up with some paint that if not a perfect match it's plenty close enough.

Not sure if it is a factory colors or not. It has been retouch a couple of times. I will have to take a cover or a door off and get it scan. Thanks for the help

According to a conversation I had with a person at BASF when looking for information on the Glasurit 54 Line of paints, they no longer manufacture it and have replaced it with what they call the 55 Line.
Attached is a spreadsheet of what I have been able to find so far.
