Thanks Gardner,

You are a man after my heart with those, nice detailed photos, they will come in handy in the future for our members doing a search for antenna repairs.

Gardner,

If you notice on most of mine similar to this one;

http://www.pbase.com/iamflagman/image/85087586

I use an Arial font and then make it in Capital letters and BOLD, I know that some people consider that shouting, but usually they can see a lot better than I can and it is easier for me to see when I'm editing the photo and the information, so I do that for us old people that don't have the best eye site, I also save the edited photo in a 150 pixel size for quality purposes. When finished and then published on a web site like my PBase site, or on this forum, it doesn't seem to blur as much. Another feature of some of my photos on my web site is they can be viewed in a very much larger size, by clicking on Original under the photo, for those that might have a hard time reading the information. Sometimes I use a different font if I don't need to include as much information with a photo, but I'm a stickler for giving as much information and directions as I can.....................just ask Randy about that one

I hope that this helps, there are some other members here on the forum that have also done excellent jobs on their photo web sites and then shared them here on the forum, a good photo and a description to go along with it, goes a long way in helping identify what the person is talking about and it really isn't that hard to do, it just takes some experimenting and time and a descent digital camera helps too.

Another thing to keep in mind is the size of the finished photo that you add to your post either in the the message body or even as an attachment, remember that even the larger the attached photo is when opened the longer it takes to open so taking a few extra minutes to downsize that picture before you attach it will help the members when they open it, I strongly suggest that you read Wanderlodge Owners Group > Frequently Asked Questions > Forum Help > IRFANVIEW Image Resizing Program
