Made it home today. 10312 miles this trip. Wonderful summer with friends in really interesting places. Now time to get ready for the WOG Rally.

Default Run away cruise control

Rick,
My 1998 Lxi did that on one of my first trips after I got it. And believe me it gets your full attention. It took me about a week to get up the nerve to try it again and when I did it did it again. So I did not use control for a while. Some time later I was reading the manual and it said to hold the button down for 2-3 seconds when engaging cruise control. I tried that method and it worked fine. I have not had any problems since.
