Check with this guy, he has a wrecked 'Bird, that has a Onan gas generator, that was in good running condition and see if he can, measure the radiator for you, to see if it is the same size of the one that came with a Perkins generator. I can't measure the one on my Perkins for you right now so you can compare them, but maybe some other member can.

I purchased some parts from him and while it took a little time, to get it all accomplished in the end I was very satisfied with what I got and the price.

Talking

Previous owner somehow drug the genset slide and bowed it. When one of his buddies tried to repair it, Dad took the radiator and had it rebuilt/recored. After he got disgusted trying to sell it in the condition it was, he gave it to the only person he knew that would repair and redo. (ME) When I went to get it and bring it home (another story) the radiator was gone, I'm about ready to put the genset back together, so the radiator issue needs to be resolved.
That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

The Generator downdraft radiator modification and swing door starts here; http://www.pbase.com/iamflagman/image/52361793

Glen if you haven't gone through my web site, there is a lot of stuff in there that you can also apply to your FC model 'Bird.

Why could'nt you have a new one fabricated by a radiator shop, I had done that in the past with other projects. They usually have access to tops and bottoms and the basic core can be cut as needed. I think Roppels in Louisville, KY could do the job, they have cores to fit just about everything from a Yugo to a Yuke. Good luck.
