Default Tommy 2 Shoes RIP

Tommy 2 Shoes, actually Tom McCarthy, was one of our original Birds of a Feather team members and a long time Bluebird owner. Tommy passed away April 23, 2019. He organized and led our shooting events since Q#1. Although he had health issues the last few years, and wasn’t able to be as active as he had been earlier, he still drove his Bluebird to Q every year.
Funeral services are planned for April 29, at 11am at Autumn Funerals and Cremations, 1575 N. Lompa Ln., Carson City, NV.
Our prayers go out for Tommy, Carolyn, and their other family members, RIP Tommy, you will be missed.

He will be missed! We are sorry to hear the news! He has been a big part of "Q" for a long time.

Peace, Tommy "Two Shoes". I forget the origin of your nickname but I know it was hilarious. Thanks for delivering, you were one of a kind, never forget.

Dang. I had a great relationship with Tom. He let me put flooring in both of his birds.

Tommy was a member here on WOG and before that on wanderlodgeall and before that on Ernie's site.
He had a great sense of humor and he will be missed.

I remember a couple decades ago, when talking about fixing the coach, there was a photo taken of Tommy trying to insert his American Express card into a slot in the generator. That is how he did repairs.

There was another pic ages ago of his tool box, open the drawers and it had credit cards in it!
He got into motorhoming by renting a one and driving it to a family function.
It was such a BoS that he ended up buying "pretty Penny" and he came to the Oregon rally at Blairs place, long ago.
He came solo,no wife or kids.

Rob Robinson gave him the nickname "Tommy Two Shoes".
