Most of the time it will have the street setup on it, which are perfectly normal radial tires. Sometimes it will have drag radials on for extra fun times. Swapping the tires is a 10 minute thing at home with the impact and jack at the ready. Disconnecting the driveshaft is not trivial because there's suspension stuff and exhaust in the way and the thing doesn't have a lot of ground clearance. I would have to jack it up and roll under it to get the DS disconnected and that's no fun. I'm also a healthy eater, let's say, so there's that. lol.

Andy, why not install two pumps. If either fails you won't fry a very costly tranny?

You are gong to have to have a tow hooks and tow bar, lights & brakes, may be easier and cheaper to use a trailer.
They make some pretty neat dove tail, tilt trailers that are not expensive.
Guy from Tulsa had one at Vidalia Last year with a vet on it. Easy load/unload and quick tiedowns.

I bet the Ramco driveshaft diconnect will hold the HP.
If you have never really looked at one,its nothing but a large synchronizer out of a stick shift transmission.
I have never had any HP behind one but i did run the same disconnect on 4-5 cars and i then sold it to a wogger and hes still using it.
Point is,i could detect no wear on the sycro itself, good stuff!

Lots of ways to do things (and opinions) if I was going to trailer I'd go enclosed just to keep the car clean .

Towing anything nice behind a MH is a invitation to un-nice it .

I would make an electronic monitor for it so if something happens while I'm pulling it I would know to stop. I would do that if I had it on a beater, too!

They do make great lockouts, and lots of other stuff.

It's still half apart, so doing all of that is easy peasy. I don't want to deal with a trailer, I already have a car hauler I could use, too.

I think it's a fine design for a regular car, but I will break it, I have no doubt.

Maybe 2 drive shafts, one with ramco for use while towing with the street tires. When you put the drag radials on swap the shaft. You have to jack it up anyway so just a little higher

Put a 4X4 transfer case in it. Problem solved.
