My 1982 does not have a facet[main fuel pump].While working on another 3208, hand prime pump would not go firm after pumping. This would indicate air leak in fuel line.No sign of fuel leak.We installed a portable marine fuel tank and installed to inlet of Racor. When squeezeing marine pump fuel was leaking at swivel fitting on Racor and swivel fitting on hand prime pump.It was not leaking fuel, but letting air in and loosing prime.

Has anyone had to replace the main copper fuel lines because they have become blocked or restricted?

You can blow them out with compressed air, take the fuel cap off. What makes you think they are blocked?

have blown them out and they seem fine just trying to trouble shoot the issue of the racor gauge going into the red when we are going up steep hills. going to replace the flexi hoses first. just wondering if anyone had any trouble with the copper lines, i doubt it but just asking!

Front or rear bath FC? Many rear bath units did not have the Faucet lift pump... Also how is the screw on fuel filter in the dog house doing?

The copper lines shouldn't give you a problem. There are a couple of couplings in the fuel system though and I have had to tighten a few of them, just did the one back by the fuel tank the other day. Loose fitting would certainly cause sucking air into the system which would be a problemo. My loose fitting was on the return side though.

As Crit said, loosen the cap and blow away
As you suggested already, check and/or replace the flex lines for sure!

Justin, How many time have you changed the Racor filter? What if anything is in the bowl?

Is the Racor dirty each time you change it?
