Default 1990 SP36 - REDUCED *SOLD*

Dear WOG Members,
My recent listing for our Bird was hijacked to death, so I am re-listing it in a new thread. We are picking up our new unit tomorrow, and the Bird is moving to storage. I have no intention of just storing our Bird forever, so I am reducing the price to 40,000 OBO.

After long and painful deliberation, we have decided that our Bird is just too small for our full timing needs. Sharlene and I have made the decision that a large 5th wheel will be a better option. Anyone that saw our Bird at the Winstar Rally will agree tht this is a "turn-key" coach...not a "fixer-upper". The new owner of this coach will be buying a Bird that is ready to go with reliability. As most of you know, we purchased our Bird last August. Since then, we have driven it 4,000 trouble free miles in 10 states. Any potential buyer will have a thousand question but I will list a few pertinent details.

1990 SP36
96,498.9 Miles
2512.8 Hours
Interior is in Very Good condition (coach has Walnut in great condition)
Exterior is in Very Good condition
3208 Cat (turbo) This engine shows NO oil loss between oil changes
8k Onan Generator 1512.0 Hours (uses NO oil between changes...I change at 100 hours)
All 6 tires are NEW Firestone (tires were installed when we purchased in August)
Solar panels with controller and monitor (charge is around 9 amps/hr)
A/C units work well (even in Texas!)
Roof has NO leaks
Zip Dee awnings on all windows (7 total)
26" Flat Screen in living area
19 " Flat Screen in bedroom
Microwave/Convection Oven
Non Smoker / No pets

Photos can be seen at:

Asking price is 40,000 OBO

Compare this SP to unique 90 SP on Buy Bye Blue Bird...new ZF 5 speed transmission, rear window, extra electrical outlets, dishwasher, washer/dryer, low mileage, WOG owner too.

In my opinion, there's no comparison. Ken's bus looks much more modern and well taken care of.

The "unusual" SP on Randy's site has the older '80's style dark cabinets, the appliances look older than I am, and that rear window sort of looks like a hack to me. That bus seems to have the interior of an older '80's coach stuffed inside a '90's shell.

If I were a buyer, I'd be giving Ken a call ASAP!

Will the price go down another $5K with each major thread hijacking?

Brenda and I were in Ken's coach before he bought it. It is very nice and should be purchased by one of you wannabes.

That is exactly what I am looking for, but I have two problems. 1, Until the house closes, I don't have the cash, and 2, until I can settle with my former dear wife, I won't know what I can afford. So if you need a quick sale (this month) I'm gonna have to pass.

X2 Plus the one on BBBB says it has peeling clear coat. Washer and dryer is a waste of space for me.

Didn't you pick up your Bird June 3?... Not that it matters, but to set the record straight.
