AZ Hot Birds
White Tanks – Nov 20-22
Sponsored by: Kevin & Cheri Vetter

Hello AZ Hot Birds & Friends, Time again for the White Tanks Rally. Spots are already disappearing so we had to move to the NE side of the loop.

- Located just west of the Valley
- There’s hiking trails galore, even a short waterfall trail.
- You can skip the hiking, just come for some great company
- There are nice hot showers and flush toilets at the campground.
- 30/50 amp service, water, and remote dump stations

You MUST make reservations now if you’ll be RV or tent camping!

The Park allows one RV with one tent, or two tents per slot. Read the details on their website.

- The Putz’s and Vetter’s will provide:
  • Burgers and all the fixings for Saturday night dinner.
  • Fruit, Danish, and coffee for Sunday breakfast.
- Please bring:
  • Your lunch and water for Saturday if you’re hiking
  • A side dish and/or munchies to share for Sat. evening
  • Besides your hiking food and drink, you provide:
    • Whatever you’d like to drink - BYOB
    • Any extra wood you have laying around that you’d like to burn in the campfire
We need a head count for dinner Saturday, and for breakfast Sunday.

- Who’s coming to play with Snuffles and Jr.? Please RSVP so they bring enough food.

For those of you that have not met the Vetter’s, you’ll LOVE Snuffles & Jr. Where we go, they go!

P.S. This year’s hike is the anniversary of Cheri’s knee replacement – her bionic knee will be one year old J

I liked the Thanksgiving thing we did last year but I guess some of us have other things to do for holidays.
If they keep raising prices out there they aren't going to be seeing me anyway. These state and county parks around here need to take a page from the Feds. and give us old F**** a break.
You want firewood?
Attached is a pic of the latest addition to my woodpile, thanks to a windstorm and my neighbors large Mesquite tree. I think One more good windstorm and I'll probably get the rest of it. I've already got plenty that is well seasoned from a couple of past windstorms.

Look at the bright side Dave.... It may cost a little more but it's MUCH closer! You'll save much more in fuel costs so it works out in the end?

Unless I go to Casa Grande, across to Gila Bend and back up 85 to avoid Phoenix traffic.

Be honest.. it's not the traffic.. you just don't want to get SHOT!

Update.. they have the shooter in custody currently AND they have 2 more months to find the copy cat's.. so sign up! It'll be much more safe by then!

I'm hope I'm not intruding but say a non-bus owner (I'm in the market for one) wanted to stop by and politely drool a bit.....would he be welcome to your gathering? I'm anxious to look at some Birds and eventually find one that's the right fit.

I'll be traveling through AZ on my way to NM in December but this might be worth a special trip depending on how many people typically go and if outsiders are welcome.

Thank you for any help!

Hey Nick. Of course you're welcome! Stop by any time! There is tent camping there on most our sites, bathrooms, and Saturday night is our big cookout so feel free to stay, we ALWAYS bring more than we can eat! Also if you're a hiker meet us at 8am Saturday for a day hike. Look forward to meeting you. :-)
