Fiberglass is a man made material that has been bonded to luan in an attempt to make men insane.

Before it is asked, even the BMC coaches are steel roof and walls with heavy fiberglass front and rear caps.

Having owned an SOB that had to be reskinned due to delamination I was very serious about owning a bus that could not have delamination issues. We are very happy with our BMC.

But we call it Structural Composite because it doesn't sound as itchy.

And Barry, we get some Bluebird visitors over in the sticks to the east of you. Maybe you could view coaches and buy Jonsies Ice Cream.

I think the lack of rivets makes people think it's now glued on fiberglass.

Just to clarify,BB still used rivets, but just around the edges of the steel sheets and behind the cove trim on the sides etc.
They glued/taped the big flat areas between the windows and along the seams of the roof.
so the panels are still riveted, just hidden.
Except on the fiberglass coach that Bears looking for.

Bear,
Most of your questions can be answered by actually looking at a Wanderlodge in person. Once you see the build, you will have no concerns over the quality of construction.
