It is easier to do them when you take them off. But if you keep them on it can be done too, but a lot more effort. You may have to get some 400 and 600 grit sandpaper to get the worst corrosion and dings out. Once that is done Busch Polishing products is some of the best stuff. They used to come to RATS but they weren't at WOG this year. http://www.buschshineproducts.com/su...olish-p-3.html

Made my first stop at M&M yesterday. My wheels still looked good at Pine Mountain, but somewhere in Florida they got etched a bit with salty sand, and I figured it would be nice to have someone else do the job. Even if they are dirty when I get home in a few days they should clean up real quick! Still 5 bucks a wheel, if you don't count the tip.

Hey Dad. I passed them by yesterday on my way to Tucson. When I leave Tucson heading back to California in Jan I'll stop by for a my annual buff

Son, I think I passed you yesterday. Actually passed 3 birds between Tucson and the I-8 junction, which is some kind of record. Thinking about it yours was probably the third, passed around noon north of Eloy.

I looked at my dash-cam recordings, but with the width of the highway median all three were too small to make good ID photos.

That was the correct time frame Dad, Had a good chat the other day with Dale Morris, Claimed he'd never heard of you laughed and then proceeded to tell me stories about you that probably should be kept secret ahahahahaha, He's fond of you and would certainly like to hear from you,

I haven't seen Dale in a couple of years, but we run into one another occasionally.

I'm still at the wheel polisher in Eloy, earlier this morning I had breakfast with Lee and Jackie Davis this time it was my treat as I didn't want to hear the moaning and groaning from Lee and he still maintains the title of "His Royal Cheapness" but he informed me that a certain WOG member with the initials JB and who lives on the side of a mountain in North Carolina that is just a short distance from the South Carolina state line is closing in on Lee for that title.

I'm having Juan polish the main awning cover that has clear coat over the top of it, which requires its removal before the aluminum can be polished it is getting done but is time consuming for $40.00 the next awning cover like this will probably be more expensive to polish
.
Here is what the lower panels on the trailer looked like before being polished.

.
Here is what the panel looks like now after the polishing.
.
.
Jackie commented about how the diamond plate on the V nose of the trailer reflected onto the back of the 'Bird.
