The bottom steel frame of the cord reel and the very thick floor is all thats there.
No problem with floor sag.

Thanks Mike for the photos! We were thinking of actually mounting one of the automatic reels - isn't that frame still heavy to move around and get the cord rewound?

The frame is bolted down,the reel pivots out and you wrap the cord around the frame.
Its the best way to go.
I have a powered reel,it can be a pain.

Karen, Randy is dead on, that is the same reel I had on my 93 and it is well balanced at the pivot point and real easy to bring in or out. You do have to physically wind the cord on the reel, but it is so much better than what you have now. That is the worst thing about my LX is fighting the cord.

Mark Bragdon did the wiring,i engineered the reel,and i had the reel from a burned coach.
