Has anyone pulled up the subfloor under the bed in their LX? I saw two boxes and wiring? The compartment under the bed is full of stuff so no photo today.

Yes those are the inverter circuits. The switches are on the front of the bed frame. Mine are humming pretty loud right now.
Has anyone changed out those circuits? Where would I get them? Any problems with this idea?
Looking forward to seeing your new to you bus at the Q Curt.

LX EMS progress. All the wiring is hooked up. The EMS 16 second delay is being used. EMS is anchored to the bay wall. The Transfer Switch box was fun, not. Need to reinstall the box. Should get to installing the tilting reel assembly this weekend. Photos after project completion.

Late to this thread. I got the Glendinning powered reel. I took off the white cover panel to the left of the water / black/ gray tanks (passenger side). The water pump, A/C transfer box and old progressive surge protector are on that bulkhead right there. That's as far as I have gotten. Plan is to build an aluminum pedestal for the reel so it sits over the pump. Abandon the old power line that runs to the progressive surge suppressor and the old power plug on the drivers side (rear) corner. I have the Hughes smart surge and an older (non surge protected) autotransformer. I want to mount them in there too. Cut a hole on the bottom of the compartment. Put in a roller guide for the power cable to run out so I can keep the compartment door closed. The reel just squeezes in there.

John mine were humming very loud. I removed the covers and moved the contacts slightly and they quieted down to an acceptable volume.

Thanks Andy, I'll take a look at doing that. I was wondering if running a bit of fine sand paper between the contacts would make a difference. Kind of like cleaning up points in a distributer. Both easier than trying to find new contacts and changing them out.
Curt I'll be real interested in checking out your project at the Q this year.
