Default Mobil Delvac Rebate

Mobil Delvac Rebate $22/5 Gallon bucket. Just bought for the next oil change.
Less than $80 for 10 gallons.

They usually do this rebate twice per year and I've been taking advantage of it for the last several. This time I opted to receive the rebate electronically by email. They sat on it for at least three months and did not send it until the day after I phoned them to see what the problem was. Next time I'm going back to the paper check. Seems like it was more timely.

Rebate is good, Wally World is better.

Last year I combined the rebate and a roll-back and got 10 gallons delivered for about $40.00 net.
The rebate should be good for all Delvac branded products.

A quick scan of the Mobil website did not show an oil suitable for a Detroit 2-stroke.
It’s only been 24 years since they went out of production; look for Shell Rotella 100 or similar CD-II or CF-II rated oil.

Detroit 2-strokes are still in production for government vehicles.

Mobil makes the Detroit Power Guard oil that I get from our local Detroit Diesel shop.

Thumbs up

On the advice of David Hollis, my net cost after receiving rebate was $14.48 for 9 gallons! Yep, $1.61 per GALLON. (Pre-rebate discounted purchase was from Advance Auto.)

Thanks Dave.

BTW, the rebate check took three months to get .

2-Stroke oil is Delvac 1240. That's what replaced the Exxon XD3
