Default HWH Kickdown jacks

Can anyone verify which HWH leveling unit Ft Valley was installing on '86 FC31's? Owner's manual in my Blue Box calls out AP-2512 (scratched through to read AP-2968), and AP-2381.

I've obviously special ordered the wrong jack and can verify that it's NOT the $1,252 RAP-2381 sitting on my workbench right now.

Probably the same one that is on my PT. AP2381.

HWH verified the correct jack as RAP7001. I'll make you a smokin deal on a spare RAP2381 if you're interested.

Unless the cylinder is physically damaged there is no need to buy a new one. The small kick down cylinder is ( or was) available as a rebuilt from HWH. The large jack can be fixed at any good hydraulic shop. Often they can even make a new replacement.

Might want to send a pic of what you have. HWH is a first rate supplier, if they have the correct information.

HWH has offered to buy it back for a 15% restocking fee. My original jack suffered a fractured linkage arm and I assumed - perhaps incorrectly - that it wasn't repairable. Just another item to add to my "lessons learned the hard way" list.
