Default Air (suspension) Issues

110 miles from home. Dash Suspension light starts flashing. Another 10 miles parked the rig to get something to eat. Suspension is UP. Return to rig find the front suspension down. Started the rig and aired up. Drove south on CA 86 along the west side of the Salton Sea, very bouncy road in places. The Suspension light stops flashing. Parked the rig at the Glamis Sand Dunes. The suspension dash light not on/flashing and suspension stayed up until leveling the rig, about one hour before leveling.

My guess is the front leveling valve needs to be replaced...perhaps the 30 PSI pressure switches(s). Interesting, problems go away while driving on the bouncy section.

Working off limited HotSpot connection.

Sounds like a likely cause and a cheap and easy first step.
If you are going to throw parts at a problem, start with the cheap ones!

Just getting started chasing the air issue. See photo of bubbles at the 30 psi switch. A real PITA to change the switch, but got it done. It started raining and getting late so haven't aired up yet. Hopefully one down and none to go. Could I be that lucky.

Good job!
I wonder if you can remote mount that switch? Into a nicer position?

Good thinking. Plenty of room to remote mount. The wires would need to be lengthened and that becomes an issue unless one has 4' arms, or a pit. The one wire is only long enough to connect from above the switch.
