Rear Ignition Switch 1982PT40
My buddy is having some problems with his Ignition switch in the engine room of his 1982 PT40.
He took the switch out and the toggle switch that switchs from front to back,marking the wires etc. A few years went by,and now hes trying to get that rear ignition switch wired back up and all of the markings have disappeared form the wires. What he needs if for someone to open up that switch box on an early PT and take a picture of the wires and where they attach to the switchs. The colors of the wires and where they attach is important! I did this once for him,but the pics I took were on a 1988WB coach,and they are not the same. Can anyone help?

Hello
Mine has no key and doesn't function,was going to remove anyway, want me to ship it for a hands on model? I installed new remote switch bypassing old unit,,just a momentary switch wired to starter solenoid.

Ed,with his rear switch un-hooked it will not start from the front,if you remove your switch yours may not start either.
It seems the front switch is wired through the rear switch?
