Default Leveling jack problem

Ok need some advice. I have a rear jack on my 80 FC
I removed the small cylinder and replace all four o-rings out it back together
Tried it and discovered that the small cylinder was actually leaking from the bottom. I need to hear from someone that has some experience with these.

Thanks in advance Mark

I've purchased the cylinder from HWH, expensive. The last one that leaked I took the old one to a local hydraulic shop and they rebuilt it. Somewhere on WOG I've posted about this.

Don't know if this will help in your situation but I had a HWH (Left Rear) leaking on my '99 LXi and determined it to be leaking through a minute pinhole in the body itself. I removed it and a local welding shop ground a shallow groove over the pinhole and welded it. I had that coach for many almost 10 years and the jack performed flawlessly after the fix. To locate the pinhole I removed the jack and applied air pressure and soap like you would for a tire leak.

It's worth a shot to look for a pin while or crack. Thanks for the info

I had one of these kickdown cylinders crack. The new ones are a different smaller design and you may need a new connection tube also.
