Honestly, I think it would be fun to be at Oshkosh even in the days after the airshow. At least for a few days. There will still be some interesting things around. And probably vendors giving away merchandise that they don't want to carry home.

Sunday and Monday (29th and 30th) there will be a lot of airplanes departing. And lots of your awesome colleagues working! As a plus you wouldn't have to buy tickets either!

Go see some junk at Delaney's, it's near the Dells. It used to be a fun place to go, but I haven't been there for years.
New Glarus is nice for the brewery and some good eats. Some really pretty driving over there, too.

I'm surprised that there's a junk store in that area my dad didn't drag me to when I was younger. We'll add it to the list!

Default Camping at Green County WI Fairgrounds and more

Great camping sites at the Green County Fairgrounds in Monroe WI.

Chris, be sure to stop at Baumgartner's on the square in Monroe WI.

Baumgartner's has been one of my favorite bars since I met Patsy there nearly 50 years ago.

https://baumgartnercheese.com/index....limburger.html

A hunk of Limburger on dark rye with a slice of raw onion. add a little brown mustard, grab a cold beer, and see why this unique cheese deserves every bit of its reputation as a local favorite.

While at the Iowa-80 truck stop visit their truck museum if it is open and if you need work on your CB radio go over to the south side of I-80 to Walcott CB they have been my go to place for CB's and repairs since the 70's.

Stop there many times over the years, park next to the old Huber Brewery and hobble over to the bar for the stinky cheese sanch's.

So as of right now our plan is go to Chippewa Falls after our time in the dells. From there that's 5 or 6 days to meander back to Georgia. Day one and two is a marathon to Moline so it'll be nice to slow down on the way home.
