Default 87 FC35 Radiator

Radiator is out of my FC35 to tackle numerous other projects. It is very likely original, has a fair amount of surface corrosion, possibly a small fan strike and possibly also a few leaks. Not pleased with what I see. I may have to go to Atlanta to have it recored since our last good rad shop shuttered over the summer. Unless there's a new one out there somewhere or a pattern for same on file with one of the builders? I seem to recall such a pattern for an SP36 so I can only hope this is the case for this FC. Inquiring minds...

I took an SP rad to my shop and they said no problem, its an in stock core.
I think the FC rad is easy to get also, but you have to be careful on the price.

$1000 bucks up here in Michigan for an SP re-cored radiator. Largest capacity available.

I know of a big truck rad shop in west Atlanta, I need to call them. I really can't think of anyone closer.

I imagine it will be as Brian says, $1000 for a high-cap core and labor.

I think a grand was what he told me at my shop, thankfully mine was still good.
I told him to replace the core if he thought it needed it,he told me a good cleaning was all it needed.
An honest shop.

We paid $1,100 for recoring in 2003. Upgraded from 4 to 5 rows of tubes. We had 6 rad shops at that time. 0 today (mostly compliance problems & plastic/aluminum "throw-a ways").
