Smile 8V92 Rad Cleaning

I’ll begin at the beginning. I did everything according to the best advice I was given. I pre-heated the engine of course and provided protective covering (card board) over the electronics and exhaust manifolds so I was all set. I mixed up the soap, pre-soaked the radiator and stood at the ready. The neighbours who had gathered said they were there to admire my lawn. I don’t have lawn. Anyway when I flashed up the engine you would not believe the suds and bubbles that an 8V92 can produce at idle with Simple Green. Half the neighbourhood kids were there already and within 30 seconds or less the rest arrived. The neighbours lawns and vehicles all got a good lather. I’m blaming this all on Shane Fedeli as I recall this was his idea.

Oh ya the rad came out really clean too

Frivolity aside I have to thank whoever suggested this Simple Green stuff. It was very evident by the colour of the water that I had some dirt in the rad.
