Short trips in the GA mountains to the numerous State parks. Already been to two. Might even get into TN. Going to try to make Maxton and will be at RATS in the fall, at least that is the plan.

We always make a Summer trip to the Michigan Upper Peninsula and Onterio, CA. to the East side of Lake Superior.
We will probably Bird travel about 5000 miles in the next 12 months , last 12 months were about 7000, Our plans this year are for about 5000 miles, and this will help with the fuel cost. But we will continue our travels , It will not be less expensive in the future. The Good Ole Days are Today.
We will have plenty of time later for in the Ole Rocking Chair, then we will save on fuel. Maybe Maxton , fall Rats, , Next Winter Fl.

Nancy and I will take our Daughter to San Antonio Tx May 30th were she will be in the Ski Show at Sea World all summer before entering UF in the fall. From there we will wonder into New Mexico, Colorado etc. Last summer we did FL to Arizona, made a right and all the way to Glacier National park, then another right to MN and back to FL. I hope to not put on as many miles this yr.

We're leaving the last part of July -- first to Portland OR for an event my wife wants to attend, then a couple of weeks near Astoria OR checking out history stuff (Lewis and Clark, etc.)

Next we'll do a loop in northern ID/MT into Canada thence on to Glacier NP (middle of August) then to Yellowstone for several days.

After Yellowstone, it's a couple of weeks with family matters near Denver -- then on to Pennsylvania by Sept 20 (for another wife event -- there's a pattern there).

Then?? we'll Wander the east coast area and go down to visit the BB factory/birds nest for a couple days. I'd planned RIV, but it was moved, so we'll be "out of position" <sigh> and RATS is overbooked. We'll probably stay in Texas for awhile (place my wife likes -- see the pattern?)

Then another pass through Denver (family again) and then home, possibly via the Grand Canyon in December.

That's enough for this summer, fall and early winter...

We are spending the summer at Valley Mobile RV Park, in Buena Vista, CO.

Randy,
The middle of June we are heading to Oxford, MS, for a couple of days to visit the in laws in their new home and then heading up to the Land Between the Lakes, TN. We couldn't make reservations in the federal section as they have limited big rig sites and they are reserved long in advance, so we are staying at the Clarkesville RV Resort, about 45 minutes from LBTL. Any suggestions on things to do in that area are welcome. We'll spend a week there and head across I-24 to I-75 and home from there. We may stop in Fort Valley, but unlikely as the Bird has been there over a month now and we don't want her to get used to being there! Hopefully, nothing in our travels will warrant a return visit. We're picking it up this weekend and will hang in the area for a couple of days.
