2001 40LX Deadbolt
We have a 2001 40LX and the deadbolt broke while we were in Quartzsite. It's a standard house deadbolt, or so we thought. Apparently not.
Anyone know where we could find a deadbolt for a door that is 2 3/4 inches thick? Kwikset and most others only go up to 2 1/4 inches. So far, my internet search has come up empty, except for one company who's rep is "busy with another customer" for the last 3 hours. Thanks Craig Petersman

Thanks guys.
I called several places today and left several messages. Did not get one call back. Doesn't anyone work any more? My online search, even for LSDA, did not come up with anything thicker than 2 1/4 inches. We've now purchased three locks. The only "guts" that are compatible with the old lock have a different end on them that will not fit into our door. (Rectangle end, not the round one) Headed back to the store to hopefully find some new "guts." Thanks again for the replies. I appreciate the help. Craig

Robert, I can't thank you enough. I know we talked about Dan while at Q, but I was not thinking that way for some reason. Just got off the phone with him and I'm thrilled. Just to find someone who knows what I am talking about feels terrific.
He is going to call me later, but I think the parts we now "can't live without" may cost about a grand. Thanks again to everyone, will keep you posted. Craig
