There are a lot of Diesel powered FCs available, mine included. The upgrades your talking of could exceed the cost of a FC ready to go. Randy has several FCs listed to go camping with your kids now.

There are pretty good deals on FC's right now. Not sure where your budget is but if time is of the essence?
In my case the 70 SP is "fill in: work for our heavy truck shop, but we have a fully equipped shop, 3 techs and me but it will still be a one to two years project to completion.

Just checked out Rick's, beautiful bird and would love to have it or one like it. Unfortunately, I don't have 25K to purchase it or one like it right now. There are several on Randy's site that I would rather have. Hey, I could go down to the local RV dealer and sign my name and walk out with a brand new one. Easy. But it would not be a WL. I feel they are much safer and better built than stick framing and w/ aluminum skin. But, someone correct me if I am wrong, due to the age of these, there is no one that will finance them,,,, right?
Randy, what are your thoughts on this? Also, does anyone know anything about the 79 from Ft Myers on ebay right now? I have been watching this and it is more in my cash range?

Thats a fact Bill, my target budget on the 70 is $35K (and that is without the cost of the consult with a shrink
) and I have been known to go over budget on projects before
