Can I suggest you send him the picture? Randy is in the middle of moving from Florida to Georgia. I think Carol takes and posts most of the pictures and she is also very busy. If he can see what you need you can trust his judgment.

The driver's side windshield wiper has now failed. I never fixed the passenger side because it is really unnecessary. I've ordered the replacement motor from School Bus Parts Company WM-612. However, this unit has five wires where the original only has three coming from the motor to the fuse bus. Do I simply just connect the same colored wires and hope for the best? Second issue is actually getting the windshield wiper arm off the bolt. Is there a specialty puller? What's the best method to remove the arm without damaging it? I'm in Winnipeg heading up to Flin Flon on a major trip out of Arizona. This bus keeps on going! Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I used that motor in my 90. Yes, i only hooked up three wires. If you look up wiper motors wiring online, you will find many diagrams labling the wires. The motor i ordered came with a splined end and i needed square, so i ground down on bench grinder. The bolt you refer to I think is whats known as the pivot. Mine just pulled apart with a little rapping with a small wrench. I could bet they get frozen over time. Try penetrating oil. The part you are removing looks like wm-4 on schoolbuspartsco.com but I cant confirm this is the correct replacement. Good luck
