We once had a Classic Winnie with split rims. Ran bias ply on the rear and radials with tubes on the front. Supposedly this is not supposed to work. Was just fine on out rig for over 20,000 miles!

Get rid of the bias tires and widow maker rims, those wheels are old,and dangerous.
I would not stand next to them. Get 6 new tires and wheels,no need getting killed with those old tires. Funny thing, bias ply tires, they have tubes in them. You get a nail in a tubeless tire and it will leak slow,or it may not even leak. You get a nail in a tube tire and it goes flat, right now. You know what to do!

I just swapped out the rims on my '72 pusher. It had 10R20 with split rims. I bought used 22.5X8.25 wheels, had them powdercoated and mounted new 11R22.5. The overall diameter between the two was 1/4" different (41.6" on the new). I did replace all 6.

Mine are 9-20 and the diameter is 40" so the 11r's might be too big. Not sure how much bigger I can go?
