Default Bigfoot Leveling Pad and Control Panel

I was under the bus, scouting out the height control valves on the rear and it seems that the curb-side rear leveling pad looks more like a taco than anything else. I assume that it sunk on our last trip and I didn't notice it. I ordered the new pad from Quadra/Bigfoot for $40 instead of trying to flatten it.

While I was on the phone with them, I discussed the sluggishness of the system to respond to commands and that sometimes it take several times to get the system to function or even to activate. They thought it was the control panel so I ordered the updated panel and control unit, they gave me a decent deal.

I'm looking forward to their arrival as well as the SnapPads I ordered.

Read THIS thread. You’re going to like how the new control panel operates

If you’re replacing both the panel and the sensor box, note my comment about the umbilical cord that is included in the standard kit being too short. You will want to order the 15 foot cord from BF.
They can substitute for the too short one.

Thank you for the heads up! I sent them a message, hopefully they get it before they ship.

I got most of the upgrade done and installed the Snap Pads. While was down there I put new rubber tip protectors on the sensors. I couldn't get the new control panel installed because it does not fit in the hole. I'll need to cut it larger, but, I'll wait until I figure out where I am going to install the new battery monitor. I'll do them at the same time.

Hi Chris, are the rubber tips on the sensors anything special, or maybe a hardware item?

They are just vacuum caps. They sent them along with the other items I ordered, but, you can get them at Napa or Lowes/HD.

Yes, the new jack control panel is slightly larger. I used LOTS of painters tape with a jig saw and a fine tooth metal blade.

Currently staying at Nat Forest CG site in a pull-thru site. Not having to use blocks or pads that required me to position them under the jacks of the coach before I pushed “Auto”, was great!
