I know I will never forget and anyone that I come in contact with will never be allowed to forget. We have to keep the memory of those burning buildings alive somehow. We have a new group of 18 year olds that didn't witness it first hand as we did. They need to be reminded constantly of what happened and why. If we don't do that all the lives lost will have been in vain.

I was in the ANG on 9/11. Our world, procedures, and readiness, changed that day. We started 12 hour shifts 24/7 when the second plane hit the tower. We flew CAP missions over San Francisco and Los Angeles until no longer required. Our pilots were horrified about the possibility of being ordered to shoot down a civilian aircraft/airliner. So thankful that order never came.

My signature changed that day also. From then until I retired it said: my name, rank, job title, and "Never forget and never forgive 09/11/01."

I will never forget the feeling of watching those planes hit the towers. Never!

Violated was how I felt that day , and why we fight these days for who we are . Never Forget , Never Forgive as Brad said !! We may disagree on how this country is ran, but we better never forget as a country who we are . U.S.A.
