Default Rear outlets hot->ground short problem

I've got a hot->ground short on my rear bedroom outlets, and I don't seem to have a 120v schematic in my paperwork. I'm having trouble locating one in the documentation also.

I've found three outlets and I've tested all three and the short exists with all three taken off the circuit. For what it's worth, the short is also about the same resistance from both rear outlets, and slightly higher from the TV cubby outlet.

Does anyone know if there are outlets or devices typically on this circuit that I am missing?

I am wondering also where the wiring breaks out for the three outlets. It's a single hot/ground and neutral coming out of the j-box.

they share a relay that powers them up when on inverter. a sort of transfer switch. run it off inverter and check for a short then. that may be a clue that it is the relay

Do all of these outlets connect to the redi-line? That is the only inverter I have.

No. Ice maker and something else. The redi is too small to power much.

I need to dig through the uploaded files again and see if I can find the 120v circuit diagrams. I only have 12v diagrams in my blue book.

Is there an outlet under the bed perhaps? I don't want to pull that mess up unless I have to, it's all snugly screwed and taped atm.

electric hot water heater is working fine.

Do you think that the freeze heater or space heater are on the same circuit?

Darren,

Those are the same files that can be found here on this forum in our Database, they are for a 1984 FC model, to see what is contained in each file scroll to the bottom of the list and open either of the last two files;

I would check Bills heat tape suggestion and unplug them first. then remove the face plates find the last plug then start disconnecting them one at a time checking for hot ground continuity at each change. even pull the wire off the cb
