There is a check list on the vintage bird site that I found very helpful. It will tell you every item to test and check. It enabled me to calculate the cost of things that needed fixed and I lowered the price by that amount.

Take a look and then post questions,
they all need a little work, anything can be repaired,
check out the history of repairs & maintenance schedule.
It is all about condition, how much work you can perform and your budget.

Use the checklist. Ask lots of questions. Check the tire date codes. Take it for a ride. Use your brain and not the heart. Good luck.

Clifford, There are many. On WOG that want you to suceed in your first bird purchase. The may be someone here that's familiar with the coach you are considering. This would be a blessing in assisting you. Up keep is everything on these wonderful machines and can save you thousands of dollars. Prices are down at this time and there are some great deals.. "Go careful and don't jump to fast. If your not familiar with the Wanderlodges, many things will not show or can be hidden. Take a look on Randy's Buy Bye. Bird site, you will find it in the menu bar. Most of these are known coaches from our membership and are represented honestly. Good hunting, good luck.

I've learned over the years to get a minimum of 1 nights sleep over any important decision - especially financial
You always have a different perspective in the morning - sometimes better - sometimes worse . I firmly believe reality sets in while asleep
Why do you think car salesmen gotta get ya to sign on the first day? If they wait till tomorrow chances of closing the deal are 50% or less - providing you even show up

When I was the world's worst car salesman from 1965 to 1970, my sales manager had a saying.....................BE BACKS................DON'T MAKE GREENBACKS
