Default Family of 3 in a FC33

Hello everyone. Here is my first post to WOG. My family and I have been looking for a bus for about 6 months now and one recently fell into our laps at a great price and size. We picked it up last weekend from Michigan and drove it down to Greenville SC problem-free. It's going to need a little work to bring it up to standard, but I will enjoy it thoroughly.

I am an engineer in the Automation industry. I essentially build robotic machinery for the auto industry. I have a vast amount electrical and mechanical experience, so working on this will not be that difficult.

Our long term plan with the bus will first be to park it on some newly aquirred land and begin building a shipping container home. Once its finished, we then plan on taking the bus out west and perhaps to Germany in a few more years, which is where my wife and daughter are from.

Our rig is an 82 FC33 with Diesel Genny. 106,000 original miles, 2,900 hours on engine and 890 hours on the genny. It has a new fridge, radiator re-coring, hoses, brand new tires, and that is pretty much it. Everything else is allllll original and kept in good working order.

I will update on WOG as the progress continues. My goal is to have all of the items listed below finished by December 2013. With a lot of time and a little money it shouldn't be a problem.

The list is item and source.

Hey Josh!

We're not all that far away from you. Maybe we'll end up at Hartwell at the same time and can compare notes.

Lol. I thought she was well known in town. :-). She started the Maximilian's restaurant in Perth years back. Ah yeah. Worth a shot.
