Question Turbo Air Intake

I had the turbo on my 8V92 replaced in Charlotte. There was a hole in the intake line and the fins were chewed up. When I got home to NJ I took the coach to Detroit Diesel for check up etc. They found that the intake line wasn't even hooked up to turbo and the line coming in is off set so it can not be attached. They said I need a new line. I called Parliament and they don't have one and offered to have one made. I called Randy Dupree and he offered to send me one next week when he gets to GA. and looks at his fire damaged coach. MY QUESTION is this why does the hose not line up and I would think that there would be some kind of flexible joint between the turbo and the hose running to the air intake box.
Any sugestions???

What's you name and what coach do you have? You need a signature block. Here's the link that will show you how to create one.

Hi Bill,

I attached a picture that shows the parts that run between the Air Cleaner Housing and the Turbo Inlet on my 91 8V92. I think that's what you are asking about?

Hay Bill,
Looks like we are neighbors. If you need an extra pair of hands working on your coach give me a shout. I'm in Ridgewood, at least for the next 2 years or so.
