Default air seat seat belts

How does the seat belt work on air-ride seats. Is it attached to the moveable part of the seat? It seems that otherwise your waist would be strangled by the belt as the seat moved vertically.

attached to the movement. More thru bolts on base, though.

Well, Not necessarily. In my FC I had air cushion seats and I left the belt attached to the floor. Sat in the seat and hitched up the belt and the seat seemed to work OK for me. If you hit a bump the seat gave some but it never seemed to rebound with enough force to cause a problem. From my experience only.

I don't think so Ernie, I am thinking it was a national. Same seat Shane used in his PT.

Thanks everyone, it seems there are several options, but I like John's best. It maintains a solid seat belt anchor and guards against having the belt squeeze you in a major vertical drop, which follows a major vertical rise.
