Tommy, If you loose enough they will comp you your stay. Roberta and I get offers every month from Tunica and use them quite a lot. We are leaving here this AM on our way to Nashville for a little business. Don't
have our BB with us. We stayed at Sam's Town and then moved over to Horse Shoe.

Default Harrah's RV Park in Tunica, Mississippi

Rick:

Martha and are not gamblers (life is gamble enough) but we are eaters and drinkers. Seems like all the casinos we have visited are a good deal on the eatin' and drankin' if you don't play the "games" which in my opinion you cannot win.

My last time in Tunica, was around 1960, wow what a change!

It has been my experience at casinos, that the only machine that pays off is the Coke machine. You put in your money and a Coke comes out, every time.

No mention of the RV Campground. Nice place. Hard times...

Tunica will be left with 8 casinos.

Hate to hear the facility is closing. Nearly got wiped out by flood sometime back. We stayed there a couple of years ago. Nice RV Park, shuttle came around every 30 minutes or so to take you to the casino. Paula Dean's Restaurant was a great place to eat - good food, good service, reasonable prices. We're not gamblers, but do like for those that do to subsidize those that don't.

Well that ain't good. We stay there often on our way to and from the south and east. I don't know if the RV Park will close or not. I had heard Harrah's had been bought out but not that it was closing. I play a little Tournament Hole Em and have played in their Poker Room a few times now I'll have to play at the Horse Shoe which just built a new place to play.

Don't know if the RV Park will close or be transferred to Horseshoe since they are owned by the same Corporation. That leaves two RV parks. One is at Sam's Town which has reopened this past year and then there is the Hollywood RV. Cheap Rates in all three places but Harrah's is our favorite.
