Thanks Barry will do. There was a plastic box on the right side of fan that prevented me moving the shroud up a lot, but was able to still clean the radiator.

Before doing that, take some tape and mark each wire or better yet take some pictures so you put them back on correctly.

Or better yet, CALL AN HVAC COMPANY and let them do it in 30 minutes. You will be happy and not cause further issues..

Best advise I can give you.

None I am aware of, but have to ask, why all the bandaides when you could get any local HVAC guy to fix the fan issue in 30 minutes and no longer risk destroying your diesel generators motor?

Barry I called 3 places the other day when at Tampa and none could come out in 2 days while we were there. I am heading back home now, will just going to leave early and drive for about 3 hours a day.
Will call a HVAC when I get home.
Thanks,
Nelson

Good advice as every time you get that engine so hot that it triggers the murphy switch, you have the potential for a catastrophic failure. It should never be run that hot.

SNOWBIRD,
I am taking all advice. I am now leaving early and only driving for about 4 hours a day without using the generator
Thanks,
Nelson
