Found out in CA. You need a class B non com. on your DL.
Also need to have a license driver with you to get it. ECT.
What have you found out when buying an RV over 40'?
This is 100% false info not sure where you got this info. But the internet is full of false info even cops dont know the rules. Heck i go into DMV and always bring the code with me. For ex there is a rule for car collectors the late fees or back fees are waived. I always tell that one to people and they dont believe me. Then they thank me. I always educate the DMV but you have to show them. That said print the pdf toss it in the bus that curt springer provided. IE the DMV rule at 42” your good. At 45 you do need the 45 RV endorsement or a class A Or Class B.

Most DMV's give bad info.
After all,the same people that talk on the phone wait on you when you go in the place.
Are any of you impressed?

I got escorted out of the dmv in Richmond, VA. three times. I guess I said the wrong words. It seems they had a different list than the internet.

If you live in AZ., and buy a coach in Cal., why do you need to be concerned about Cal. rules. Won't it be registered in AZ?

This has been a very educational experience. I appreciate everybody’s replies and I respect everybody’s opinions. Unfortunately, while California might not be frequently enforcing their class B noncommercial license, it is the law and if we got in a wreck, it would be an issue as the law states that you were automatically considered at fault.. You also need to pass the physician DOT exam for this license and other requirements.
