Smile Grill you about BBQs

My 96 WB42 has slid out Olympia gas grill.
The burner is totally rusted out.
I have looked at a replacement grill but can't find anything to fit.
1) Does anyone know the model number as I can't find anything on mine?
2) what have you replaced your grill with?

My coach came with an slideout electric barbeque--which does not qualify as a barbeque in my book.

I replaced it with the larger of the two Weber Q Grills (not the mini), which cooks a dozen steaks and has very even heat,

I realize that for the purists a gas barbeque isn't a barbeque, but in my book anything with a flame qualifies.

Default Blackstone Griddle installation

We also purchased the Blackstone Griddle and I installed it on the BBQ slide out. Since the gridle has to be level I used modified load restrainers and a mounted level to do that. I also added a propane regulator to reduce the high pressure that was plumbed to the propane connector on the coach. The proper high pressure quick disconnects consistently leaked and caused a safety hazard. The new low pressure disconnect does not leak.

That Blackstone setup a real nice replacement. I had one but left it behind due to storage limitations. FYI, Camp Chef makes a barbeque box with lid that just sits on their griddle, and it also fits over one-half of my 3 burner blackstone griddle. Nice to have for chicken and other foods that need some top heat too.

As far as the high pressure propane hose you are correct--that much pressure buildup in the hose can create havoc when disconnected--especially if you try to reconnect it barehanded like someone we know....
