I'm actually looking for the wired old school phones.. my bird has 3.. one at driver, one near kitchen and one in bedroom. I do also have plug in jacks at pilot, Co-pilor.and then back in bedrooms I think.. still learning bus.

My 10 and 12 yr duaghters asked me to post and see if I can get them working.. they think its so cool. So I'm running with it..

Thanks

I think they are easy to fix? ?? Probably needs cleaning at the wire interface. I will look at the broken one and see what I can find.

I believe there's a little white box on the wall by the drivers seat that hooks all the intercoms together. I'm not sure if it's just a junction box or if it may be an amplifier.

Okay, you're talking about the phone 'handset', the part you hold in your hand and press against your head, right?

I though your bus had some aircraft-like headsets that plugged into the headset jacks over the driver's and co-driver's heads. I've always wondered if they were anything special, and if they allowed 2-way communication. It can get a bit noisy up there when underway.

CTD,
I do have both a pilot and copilot headset plug.. not sure if they just play music or are in fact headsets to talk like in a plane.. will let you know once I get to testing them..

Today, I pulled interior covers for some new material and swapped out all batteries, added a flow rite system.. also pulled the hydraulic levers down that move the levelers.. they seemed to be leaking on the batteries.. got some turns in on the nuts so hope that clears it up..

That’s what I’ve wondered, too. Are they just for the stereo, or for communication? The OEM stereo wires are all cut, so I doubt that stuff is working. If intercom style coms, maybe they still work. Just gotta fund the right headsets.

Yeah, we have recovered the captain’s chairs and the barrel chairs in our bus, to something that now looks better. We had material left over, so will do the chairs at the dinner table so they match the barrel chairs.

“ hydraulic levers down that move the levelers”

^^what do you mean by this?

There are 4 levers on floor left side of driver.. they control each corner to level the coach.. they are hydraulic.. and were slow dripping onto batteries.. chicken or egg though.. you have to drop them down to get to nuts. But can't test unless you can run it.. means batteries have to be installed.. so I had to reinstall with fingers crossed they don't leak.. if they do assume oring or fittings will need replaced. Optimistic because each one did tighten more..
