Well it's over.... I hooked up with the Dupree's in the parking lot of Wall-mart. We had some pork, and four hours of great conversation. Randy convinced me that I am totally crazy, and that I will do just fine in a Wanderlodge. Carol was polite, demure and long suffering. Sadie, was beautiful, friendly, soft and enjoyed getting scratched behind the ears. All-in-all it was a wonderful evening, and just what I had hopped.

Yep!
We went for BBQ,not bad considering Salt Lake City is not famous for BBQ,or any other foods except Nutri system.
After John finally left, err.i mean went home for the evening Carol and I slept well,a nice quiet walmart campground in the heart of SLC.

This morning we went to see a beautiful M380,i have it listed on BBBB and we wanted to see it in person,it always helps if i have touched it,smelled it etc.
This coach is as close to new as you can get.
Stored in a heated building, low miles and perfect.
The pics on BBBB do not do it justice, but Carol has new pics,so look for them today.

Blue Emu was fun to visit with, hes going to be OK if he ever buys something,he needs a workcamping job somewhere for the winter (Not in Ga!)
He is close to pulling the trigger!

Randy,
Are you going to take in Antelope Island while you are there? It is interesting, but not a knockout like many of the Western National Parks. They have a campground there as well.

Here is a prototype Wanderlodge at the Garr ranch on the island..

WE have been in Cedar City for a few days, hitting the pawn shops and awaiting on the yard sales tomorrow.
Not much rusty iron here, but there is a farmers market in the morning, fresh veggies for us!
After we left the blue emus we headed down into the hills,we went to see Capitol reef Nat Park,we stayed in Torrey for two nights and rode all over the hills.

Leaving there we headed west on 12,down and past Brice Canyon to 89 and then to 14 and over to Cedar City.
12 is one beautiful road,it runs right along the ridge with canyons on each side.
The downhill grade was 14%,so they say.
It may be that steep in spots, but it was a nice ride,we took it slow,3rd gear, jake on high.

WE will be heading down into St.George to vist, even though we were there last year with Gardner,Thomas and Rob for a few days.
The weather is good, clear and sunny in the day, nights are clear and cool.

September to mid-November is my most favorite season here in the Great Basin. Generally sunny days in the low 80's with cool crisp nights in the 50's. We usually get a good storm or two that will bring rain, and later in October even snow, but it always warms back up right after. Sometimes the Indian summer will last all the way to mid December, but the day time temps start getting cooler and cooler, and by the end of October the nights are getting down to freezing. But Autumn in the Rockies is my favorite time of year.

We are in a campground in Hurricane Utah.
Its a big place,nice too.
This morning early i took Sadie on her 7am walk.along with the other early risers here, everyone walking a dog and carrying a pink bag.
Some people power walking, with no dog.

Around 8am the jazzy people come out and ride their Jazzys around the park, getting their early morning ride in,just like the Harley guys do.
Most of them have a white bag in the basket of the Jazzy.
"honey,i'm taking the trash out".
Put the trash in the basket,un-plug the jazzy and down to the dumpster they go.

They drive right up to the dumpster and try to lift the lid,and throw the white bag in,without getting off the Jazzy.
Its not easy!

I'm on a walking kick,i walk Sadie everyday, morning and night,we fast walk around the whole park, with an occasional stop to check "pee" mail by Sadie.
Walking a dog that hates other dogs is great, that way i don't have to stop and talk to other people thats walking their dogs,i just say "stand back, shes mean" and we keep walking.

Sometimes we see young people with kids in strollers,Sadie loves kids, really, she does!
Heres how that goes:
Ohh,what a pretty dog!
Can my baby pet her?

"Sure,Sadie loves kids"
I go over to the kid,and Sadie gives them a big lick, right in the mouth!
Hahahah!
The kid starts screaming, and Sadie and i finish our walk!

Glad you guys are having a good time. We are in Salt Lake at the KOA, nice and it's close to most all we wanting to see. Head south on Thursday morning, want to spend time at the National Parks. If you have any suggestions, pass them on.
