Default 7.5 Kohler gas gen set

I have a line on a 1980 BB with a 7.5 gas generator. Apparentley, this coach has a seperate gas take for gasoline. This coach is the mid year 1980 model with air bag suspension. The owner has transplanted a 3208 turbo in place of the 3208NA. This coach seems to be well taken care of, and it has all of the records in the bluebox, along with all update info. My question is about the gasoline powered generator (I don't know what kind of hours are on it) is this generator air/oil cooled, or liquid/oil cooled? Are parts still available? And in general, were these units reliable

My previous 1978 FC33 had a 6.5 Kohler gas generator. It was air cooled and seemed to work fine. I am not sure about one that may have problems. I dont know how easy they are to rebuild or if parts are available. However, replacing a gas air cooled generator is a lot cheaper than a water cooled diesel.
