Default The power of the search function

Lately, I have been having problems with the fuel solenoid on our 8kw Onan. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. While reading through other posts on this same unit I came across a comment from Bill Pape about terminal 12 in the cannon plug. It was followed by a comment from Randy that Susan's bus was doing the same thing-Bingo!. Thanks again for the forum and all of it's members... I really need to pull the unit out and replace the generator bearing also.

I removed this Onan at least 3 or 4 times, its a pain.
Do it all, hoses, radiator, squirrel cage fan, motor & capacitor, insulation, there is a small fan in the rear to add fresh air to the compartment.
There are a few more pins in that connector, maybe 10,11,12.
12 Volts, ground, and glow plugs, all need repaired.
Spending your timer & $$$$
The parts and procedure is in the files.
Plug the fuel lines, wrap the wires and continue to use the bus.

That cannon plug is non-stop problems, I have bypassed most of those pins and have solved many problems with the generator.
