Default summer-fall trip

Well,
We are headed out today and plan to return in November. First stop is Johnsburg, ny. It is a cell and internet dead zone, so we will not return to the air until Tuesday night. Tuesday we will stay at the Webster park campground near Rochester NY. Lee and Jacque recommended it so it must be good.

If we don't surface for a week or so, send out the search parties

We made it to stop one in the Adirondacks. Short stay but went out with my sister and brother in law for dinner. This morning I discovered the left inner dual was at 70 lbs. I tightened up the braided valve extender and filled it up to 105. I waited an hour and no change so we headed out to Rochester. I stopped several times and it seems to be good. All tires are hot and naturally the pressures are much higher, but they seem to be equal. The fronts are at 115 cold cause that's about as much as I can get in them from the coach supply.

We made it to Rochester and set up camp. Relaxing on the shores of Lake Ontario. Internet reception is very weak. I'll add pics when we have a better connection.

So far, so good.

We arrived at 'The Farm' in the Adirondaks Sunday evening.

The Farm was the place of my mothers birth, albeit the old farmhouse was replaced with a modern log cabin in the 80's, and electricity was finally brought in. My grandmother lived in the old farmhouse cooking on a wood stove and relying on a 'Pot Belly' wood stove for heat in the winter until her death in 1959. Water was pumped from a well using a hand operated pump outside. Back in the late 40's my uncle ran a pipe from a spring a half mile away on the hillside across from the farmhouse and installed a modern bathroom complete with a hot water heater connected to the wood stove. The spring water was not considered potable, so the hand pump was still used daily for drinking and cooking water. Oil lamps were used for light and a battery operated radio was the sole contact with the outside world, aside from the party line crank phone on the wall.

From the cabin you can see Crane and Hucklebarry mountains beyond the Mill Stream and nearby hills. The red tin roof was a recent addition. Got it cheap and had a relative install it. It will be a long time before it needs to be replaced. I installed a 30 amp RV outlet for when we visit.

Here is the coach in the driveway at The Farm wiht the cabin, hills and mountains in the background.
