Default Drag link ball joint boot torn

I put this in another thread and have not gotten any replies so I thought I would post it here.
I have a 1991 sp, I noticed today that the ball joint boot is torn on the ball joint that connects the drag link to the pitman arm. I am wondering if anyone knows the part # for a new boot or do i need to buy a new joint to get the boot. If i need a new joint does anyone know the part # for that. Also do you know where to buy the part. Thank you.

i did find where some one said that Meritor part #'s ( left hand) 230068 (right hand) 230069. might work but they are not sure as no one has tried them that I am told.

Are we sure we are not discussing a Tie Rod End (TRE) here and not a ball joint?

Thank you for the reply. If it is a tie rod end and not a ball joint thank you for that info. All I know is it threads into the end of the drag link and the drag lnk connects to the pitman arm. One end is a left hand thread the other end is a right hand thread.

Keep adding grease & purge the old, then eventually replace it , THis is not an expensive part.
