For a great hamburger in an old fashioned setting you can't go wrong with the Driftwood Grill in Willliston Fl. Just don't rely on Randy to take you there or you'll only see the place maybe once a year. Here's a site and a map.

Ok I'm going to chime in again. I think one of the best BBQ sandwishes that can be had is at a place called Bubba's. If you can imagine that. It is in Buxton, on the Outerbanks of NC. A little hole in the wall place where they cook the hog right in the middle of the building while you watch. It is something to write home about.

I know that Flying J well as that's where I usually fuel on my runs to Maryland. I'll have to look for it next time.

It doesn't look like anyone has posted here in a while, but another really cool place to add to the list is Lambert's Cafe. There are three of them (Sikeston, MO, Springfield, MO & Foley, AL) here is their website:

http://www.throwedrolls.com/

They are famous for throwing the dinner rolls across the room (sounds crazy but its fun). The food is basically southern cooking and its great. Also, I believe all of the locations have bus/rv parking.
