Default Pre-Sale announcement PT36 - lots of modernization - San Diego area

Hi All,
Thought I’d drop a pre-sale announcement for my PT-36. Will be creating a detailed sale listing.
For now I’ve got nearly 50 pictures here.
https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0sGKQPy6Ol97B

My family and I plan to move up to a bigger and newer Bluebird.

Some highlights:
Engineer / anal retentive owner last 8 years.
Garage / carport kept in Southern California.
Setup for dry camping. I have a 3 panel solar (500W) install which requires zero generator use.
Webasto diesel fired heater for hot water.
Magnum Energry pure sine inverter / charger.
iPad driver navigation info/tainment / backup camera monitor
Paint in excellent condition.
Bamboo floors throughout.
Updated upholstery.
3 working AC units and 3working propane heaters.
New window coverings.
King bed plus two jack couches.

Thank you,
Doug W

Hi All,
Very much appreciate your interest. Yes! I did find the coach on WOG all those years ago.
I bought it from an entrepreneur who retired and owned his own toy warehouse in Omaha. He kept it inside and plugged in.
Since....
I’ve put a lot of blood sweat and tears as money in to it.

The exterior paint has been maintained and is probably nicer than when I bought it.

I thought I’d start at $42k asking. That said it will sell this summer and I will adjust my price if need be and depdendent on the market value.

It is well loved and ready for the road. I’d not hesitate to take a cross country trip tomorrow. I’m in the midst of my own 600 mike trip now.

Check oil level and tire pressures and head out.

I’m honored at the positive comments.

Thank you,

Doug W.

Really like the king size bed! What was the original configuration-2 twin beds, center island?

Thank you! Yes. Began life with twins.

The bed required moving the water tanks running east to west. And then replumbing. In the same project I installed a new American made high pressure water pump and wired it via relay.

From there I built a new bed platform and faced the from with bamboo flooring and topped with with bullnose stair nosing.

You will notice we gained about 8” of floor space in front of the bed CS the twin arrangement. This is enough room for a small duffel bag, backpack or even yesterday’s clothes. :-)

We put a 12” memory foam mattress on top. Very comfortable sleeping on board this bus!

Thank you,

Doug
